What Types of Data Feeds does Doorify MLS Offer? Follow
Doorify MLS is proud to offer the following types of Data Feeds:
IDX
IDX covers a wide range of software products and services for MLS Participants/Subscribers. While some details may differ between IDX products, they are all public-facing tools that advertise a listing and allow the public and clients to search your website using MLS data. An IDX data feed allows Brokers-in-Charge and Agents the ability to display listings on their real estate websites.
Through IDX, Participants/Brokers-in-Charge permit other Participants and Subscribers to advertise their listings on one another’s websites. This means that an IDX feed is only available if you are participating in the IDX program, and only for display on their brokerage websites or other broker-controlled displays.
A Participant/Broker-in-Charge can opt-out from including their listings in the IDX feed but if they do, they and their agents cannot receive an IDX feed for their own websites or applications.
Requirements:
- A three-party agreement between the Participant, Vendor, and Doorify MLS.
- An IDX data feed may not be used for any other purpose than for public display/consumption. This means that an IDX data feed can only be used to power products/services that have a public-facing element and are meant for public display.
- Because an IDX data feed may only be used for public display, IDX data cannot be used to run/display analytics as this would not be an approved usage of the data.
- An IDX data feed is subject to periodic data audits and must abide by Triangle MLS's Rules & Regulations.
Fees:
- $500 one-time set-up fee
- $300 quarterly fee ($100 monthly)
VOW
The purpose of a VOW is to provide brokerage services to existing clients, and it is not intended to be an advertising vehicle. Much like a member of the public can walk into a physical office (or fill out a form on a website) and receive an evaluation on a property, or request historical information on homes, a Participant/Broker-in-Charge may choose to provide those services online, through a VOW. An existing client relationship is required to access the VOW. Since historical and sensitive information may be included in a VOW, a higher security level is required to operate a VOW. A VOW is therefore very different from a website that advertises listing information.
A VOW is a password-protected area of a brokerage’s website where consumers who have entered into a lawful broker-consumer relationship with the brokerage can log in to view listing information provided to the brokerage through an
Requirements:
- A three-party agreement between the Participant, Vendor, and Doorify MLS.
- Since a VOW feed contains fields that are not intended for public-display, your VOW website must reside behind a login and be non-accessible to the public.
- The data is not to be shared or used for public consumption, is subject to periodic data audits, and must abide by Triangle MLS's Rules & Regulations.
Fees:
- $500 one-time set-up fee
- $300 quarterly fee ($100 monthly)
Participant Data Access Policy (PDAP)
This type of data feed can be referred to by a few different names (e.g. Broker Data Feed, Internal Broker Feed, etc.).
Participants, meaning broker-owners or brokerage principals, are entitled to a data feed of their listings. A PDAP feed would contain all active MLS listing content input into the MLS by or on behalf of the Participant and all of the Participant’s off-market listing content available in the MLS system. This would include Brokerage office listings, all statuses, all property classes, all fields, live stream open house & open house, media, and tours.
Although there are some nominal contract terms that must be signed, the Participant/Broker-in-Charge can use this feed of their own listings for any purpose. Once the PDAP is created, DMLS will not limit the use of the Participant’s listing content by the Participant or the Participant’s designee.
Requirements:
- A completed Broker Data Release (BDR) between the Participant and Doorify MLS.
Fees:
- No fees for the PDAP feed
Brokerage Back Office (BBO)
This data feed can be referred to by a few different names (e.g. Firm Internal Use, Custom Data Feed, Back Office Feed, etc.).
This type of data feed is to be used for "in-house" or "back-office" purposes. Some of the common use cases for a BBO feed are integrating MLS data into your in-house customer relationship management (CRM) platform, integrating MLS data into your in-house transaction management tools, integrating MLS data into your in-house Agent and Brokerage productivity and ranking tools, integrating MLS data into your in-house marketplace statistical analysis and reports, etc.
The data provided in a BBO feed is very detailed and may include information not found in either VOW or IDX feeds. Confidentiality and security should be treated with the highest priority, as BBO feeds contain data not intended for public-display. The data from a BBO feed must not be distributed/utilized for any other purposes and the data must not be visible to the public.
Requirements:
- A three-party agreement between the Participant, Vendor, and Doorify MLS.
- Since a BBO application contains fields that are not intended for public-display, your application/product must reside behind a login and be non-accessible to the public.
- The data is not to be shared or used for public consumption, is subject to periodic data audits, and must abide by Triangle MLS's Rules & Regulations.
Fees:
- $500 one-time set-up fee
- $300 quarterly fee ($100 monthly)
