Paragon: How to Setup Reverse Prospecting Follow
Reverse Prospecting allows Listing Agents to proactively search for buyer property matches for their listing. Listing agents have NO access to buyer contact information. Listing agents must work through the Buyer's agent. Buyers' agents, as they set up auto email notification searches for their clients, must check a box and add the first name or alias of the buyer to opt their buyers in for reverse prospecting.
Buyer’s Agent: Opting your Contact into Reverse Prospecting
In Paragon on the top navigation bar, select Contacts then View/Manage Contact.
Click on your contact's name.
Select Contact Information on the left-hand menu. Then check the “Use Reverse Prospecting” box. Enter an Alias or nickname (such as their initials) for your contact.
An alias protects your contact's real name and helps you know who the Listing Agent is referring to.
Select Save after entering the needed information.
You have now completed the steps to “opt” your contact into Reverse Prospecting.
Listing Agent: Search Reverse Prospecting
Click on Contacts then Reverse Prospecting.
Enter your Listing MLS # or click on the property address from the list. Then enter how many Days Back you’d like to search and then select Search.
The reverse prospecting results will then display with the Agent, agent's contact information, and the Alias/Nickname of the contact. The contact's email and phone number will not display.
