Rental Beast Listing Input Discontinuation FAQ Follow
Why is Rental Beast being discontinued?
We have decided to discontinue the ability to input listings through Rental Beast based on subscriber feedback. This change allows us to streamline rental listing workflows and ensure a consistent experience across all property types. While listing input is being discontinued, other Rental Beast features like saved searches and client collaboration will remain available for now.
When will Rental Beast be discontinued?
Rental listing input in Rental Beast will be discontinued on March 18th, 2025. Starting on this date, all Residential Lease (Rental) listings must be entered through the DMLS Listing Manager.
NOTE: MLS Rental Data will no longer update in Rental Beast after March 18th, 2025.
What will I lose access to with the discontinuation of Rental Beast?
Subscribers will no longer have access to:
- Rental listing entry in Rental Beast
- Premium syndication options provided exclusively through Rental Beast
- The "Claim a Listing" feature.
What are the benefits I can expect from this change?

- RESO standardized fields for listing entry vetted by industry professionals in our market
- Listing History available
- Option to add private listing documents
- Option to add Listing Videos
- Option to add Multiple Virtual Tours

Will there be any field changes when transitioning from Rental Beast to the Doorify Listing Manager?
Yes, there will be field changes as part of the transition from Rental Beast to the Doorify MLS Listing Manager.

Are there any training opportunities available to assist with the transition?
Yes! If you are unfamiliar or just need a refresher course with the DMLS Listing Manager, we offer regular online classes. You can find these sessions on the DMLS Training Calendar.
What steps should listing agents take for existing rental listings?
On March 18th, 2025 your Residential Lease listings will automatically be available in the DMLS Listing Manager. We recommend verifying your active listings to ensure the data is accurate and complete.
NOTE: When agents go to update their listings, any new required fields must be completed before saving.
What about my incomplete listings?
Incomplete/Draft listings will not be transferred. Agents should recreate any incomplete/draft listings they wish to keep in the DMLS listing manager on March 18, 2025.
As a BIC, how do I manage my office/firm listings?
On March 18th, 2025 your office/firm’s Residential Lease listings will automatically be available in the DMLS Listing Manager.
Will there be alternative products available for rental applications/tenant screening?
We are exploring new solutions for rental applications and tenant screening tools to better serve our subscribers. Updates will be shared as they become available.
