Text overlapping in Paragon can be caused by the font in your web browser being set to an incorrect size. Each browser has its own appearance settings which can affect text in the browser. However, the only thing that can affect the text in Paragon is the setting for font size. Below are instructions for Edge, Chrome, or Firefox.
Please be advised that the default font for these browsers is Times New Roman, and changing the actual font style can also cause an overlapping issue.
Chrome
Click on 3 dots in the upper right hand corner and go to settings
Click on Appearance on the left hand side.
The Font size under Appearance should say medium. If this shows as medium click on Customized Fonts.
In the customized fonts you will see 2 sections we need to check in the first which is Font Size if you put your mouse over the bubble it will display a number, this is the current size. This should be at a 16. Move the bubble to the 16 if it is above or below this number.
Now do the same for the Minimum Font size. This should be a 6. Move the bubble to the 6 if it is above or below this number.
Once corrected you can close this tab and the changes will take effect immediately.
Edge
Click on 3 dots in the upper right-hand corner and go to settings
Click on Appearance on the left hand side.
The Fonts on the right hand side say medium. If this shows as medium click on Customize Fonts.
The appearance of the fonts should look like so.
Once corrected you can close this tab and the changes will take effect immediately.
Firefox
Click on the 3 lines in the upper right hand corner. Then Click on options.
Under Language and Appearance, you will see Fonts and Colors. Look for the default Font. The size needs to say 16.
If the font is at 16 click on Advanced.
The font size for Proportional should be at a 16 and the Font size for Monospace should be a 13, and the minimum font size should say none.
Once corrected you can close this tab and the changes will take effect immediately.
Safari
If you clear your Safari history, websites will go back to their default font size and/or zoom level.
In the History menu, select Clear History.
Then click Clear History again.
Once corrected you can close this tab and the changes will take effect immediately.
