- Why are we launching a new Paragon system?
Minimizing Listing Update Delay
With the Old Paragon system we are experiencing a listing update delay of 20+ minutes. With New Paragon we are moving to a new technology that will allow us to reduce the delay to just 5 minutes. Our target is an update time of less than 1 minute.
Consistency in Listing Data
The New Paragon System is supporting the Listing Data standards set by the Real Estate Standards Organization (reso.org). This means that Paragon listing fields will be consistent with the TMLS Listing Manager.
Better Support for Documents
Because the New Paragon system is using a newer technology to pull in listing data, we are able to accurately manage security settings of documents and make documents available directly from Paragon.
Access to the New Paragon Connect App
With the New Paragon, you will gain access to the New Paragon App making Paragon easily accessible wherever you are. The app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store soon! Please note that you will need to create a separate password for the app.

- Can I continue to use the old Paragon system?
The old Paragon system will be available until October 22, 2024. This gives you a 6 week period where the old and new systems will run in parallel. We recommend you switch to the New Paragon system as soon as possible.
- Will Auto Notification continue to be sent to my clients from the Old Paragon system?
Yes. During the parallel period both systems will be live and fully functional. We encourage you to create new clients and client searches in the New Paragon system instead of the old.
- Will my clients’ saved listings migrate to the new system?
No, saved listings will not be moved over.
- Will my saved listing carts migrate to the new system?
Yes, saved listing carts have been moved over. Please note any listing carts created in the old Paragon system after August 26, 2024 will need to be manually added into New Paragon.
- What will be different in the new system?
While Paragon will look and work the same, the listing data will be upgraded and follow data standards set by Real Estate Standards Organization (reso.org) and as seen in the TMLS Listing Manager. This will ensure consistency in listing data both nationally and between TMLS services.
- Are my searches moved over to the new system automatically?
Unfortunately not. The improvements made to ensure better quality and consistency in listing data made it impossible for our Paragon vendor to migrate saved searches to the New Paragon system. Any attempt would result in unpredictable search results. Therefore, any searches you wish to keep and maintain you will need to re-enter into the New Paragon system.
- Are my contacts moved to the new system automatically?
Yes, all contact information has been added to the new systems as of September 9. Any contacts added to the Old Paragon system after September 9 will need to be manually added to the new site as well. Please note that any searches tied to contacts are not migrated over and will have to be re-entered.
- What about saved CMAs?
Unfortunately, CMAs will not be migrated to the new system. We recommend that any CMAs that you wish to keep be exported to a PDF file and if needed, manually recreated in New Paragon.
- How much time do I have to move searches over to the new system?
We are running the Old and New Paragon Systems in parallel for 6 weeks, starting on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. At the end of the 6 weeks access to the Old Paragon system will end.
- I have created custom Listing Reports . Will they migrate over?
Unfortunately not. The improvements made to ensure better quality and consistency in listing data made it impossible for our Paragon vendor to move custom Listing Reports, including custom Result Pages and MLS Sheets, to the New Paragon System.
- Will my hotsheets be migrated over?
Unfortunately not. The improvements made to ensure better quality and consistency in listing data, made it impossible for our Paragon vendor to move saved Hotsheets to the New Paragon System
- What actions are required of users?

- Will I be able to add/edit my listings in the new Paragon?
Listing add/edit will remain unchanged which means that listing management will continue through the TMLS Listing Manager. Easy access links to the TMLS Listing Manager are available from the Paragon Listings menu.
- How will I access the new system?
You’ll find new tiles for the New Paragon and Paragon Connect Systems on the TMLS Dashboard.
- How will I know if I am in the old or new system?
The home page in both systems will clearly indicate which system you are in.
- Will I need to turn off searches in the old system once I have migrated them to the new system?
Yes. Once you have re-entered a search and turned on Auto Notifications in the New Paragon system, you should turn off auto-notifications for the search in the Old Paragon system. This will avoid notifications being sent from both systems.
