Which Forms do I Need for my Listing? Follow
The MLS does not regulate documents; however, there are four (4) forms required in certain situations and/or for specific listing statuses.
Canceled Status
- Requires the use of the NC Realtors The Termination of Agency Form (720).
- Must be uploaded to the listing prior to cancellation.
- Document Level Security should default to “Has Edit”. This means the document cannot be viewed on public websites or by other members of the MLS.
Coming Soon Status
- To avoid confusion and set the right expectations with the seller, Doorify MLS requires that the Coming Soon Form (or a form with similar language) be signed and attached to the listing within two business days of entry.
- Document Level Security should default to “Has Edit”. This means the document cannot be viewed on public websites or by other members of the MLS.
Hold Status
- Doorify MLS requires that the Hold Form (or equivalent documentation) be signed and attached to the listing whenever a listing is placed in Hold status. This should be done within two business days of the status change.
- Document Level Security should default to “Has Edit”. This means the document cannot be viewed on public websites or by other members of the MLS.
Limited Distribution
- To avoid confusion and set expectations, Doorify MLS requires the Limited Distribution Form (or a similar one) to be signed and uploaded to the listing within two business days of entry.
- Document Level Security should default to “Has Edit”. This means the document cannot be viewed on public websites or by other members of the MLS.
