📅 How to Add a Showing Restriction in ShowingTime

Control when your listings are available for showings

You can add and manage showing restrictions directly through the ShowingTime Appointment Center available via your Doorify MLS dashboard.

🔗 Step 1: Access ShowingTime

1. Go to the DMLS Dashboard: my.doorifymls.com

2. Under Other Services, select ShowingTime Appointment Center

🧭 Step 2: Choose Your Interface View

Once in ShowingTime, navigate to My Listings and click on the listing you wish to update. You will see either the Next Generation View or Classic View, depending on your settings.

⚙️ Next Generation View

➤ Set Availability Restrictions

1. Click Setup from the menu.

2. Scroll down to the Availability section.

3. Click the boxes within the schedule to toggle between Available and Unavailable times.

🆕 Note: “Availability” replaces “Restrictions” in this view.

🧠 Auto Confirm Feature

• Turn on Auto Confirm to enforce the Availability settings.

• The app will follow rules you define in the Custom Rules Setup.

• 

📐 Create Custom Rules

1. Select Create New Rule under Custom Rules.

2. Define:

   • Rule Name

   • Start and End Time (or All Day)

   • Date(s) the rule applies

   3. These rules will appear on the calendar view once saved.

📘 Classic View

Showing restrictions can be set up in two ways within each listing.

🔸 Option 1: Appointment Restrictions Section

• Found on the listing page

• Displays in list view

• Click Add a New Showing Rule to begin

🔸 Option 2: Showing Restrictions Tab

• Located at the top of the listing page

• Displays a calendar view to visually manage daily, weekly, or monthly restrictions

➤ Add a Showing Restriction (Both Methods)

1. Click Add New Showing Restriction

   2. Enter a Restriction Reason (required)

   3.Choose:

            Duration: Timed or All-Day

            Date Range: One-Time or Repeating

   4. If Repeating, select the day(s) of the week

   5. Click Save Showing Restriction

ℹ️ Agents attempting to schedule during a blocked period will be informed of the restriction reason.

⚠️ Important Reminder

🚫 Showings cannot be blocked for more than 48 hours.
If you need to block access for a longer period:

• Change the listing to Hold status

• Or have the Broker-in-Charge withdraw the listing, based on your situation
