Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is there an extra fee to have an admin access agents' listings?
A: Admin access to view an individual agent's listings — toggling between agents one at a time — is included in Ocusell List at no additional cost. A centralized dashboard with visibility across all agents, teams, and offices at once is part of the premium Ocusell List Plus tier, which does carry an additional brokerage-level fee.
Q: When adding documents or photos, is there a button for ShowingTime to set up showing instructions?
A: Not yet, but this functionality is expected soon. In the meantime, go directly to ShowingTime from your Dashboard or through the Listing Manager.
Q: How can we be sure the information Ocusell auto-populates is correct?
A: Auto-populated information is powered by public records. As always, the listing agent is responsible for the listing data, so please review all fields for accuracy before publishing.
Q: How accurate is Ocusell as it relates to data compliance?
A: Ocusell uses public records to auto-populate fields. Doorify MLS has worked closely with the Ocusell team to ensure listings follow Doorify business rules and adhere to our MLS's data compliance requirements.
Q: Will I be able to import an incomplete listing from Doorify?
A: Not at this time. Listings entered in Ocusell can be edited in either Ocusell or the Listing Manager. Listings entered in the Listing Manager, however, will need to be maintained in the Listing Manager only.
Q: Have the fields been updated to comply with the new Appraisal UAD 3.6 form that's mandatory this November?
A: These fields reflect what's in Doorify MLS and will be updated in compliance with the new Appraisal UAD 3.6 form.
Q: Will you provide a list of the fields that auto-populate?
A: When the auto-fill selection is complete, you'll see the categories that were prefilled. While working in the form itself, pre-filled fields are highlighted in blue.
Q: Will we enter all new listings in Ocusell rather than the Listing Manager moving forward?
A: That's up to you! We'd love for you to give Ocusell a try, and if you love it, keep using it — but the Listing Manager isn't going anywhere. Note: listings entered in Ocusell can be edited in either Ocusell or the Listing Manager, while listings entered in the Listing Manager must be maintained there only.
Q: Is there a data-entry document for sellers, and can I start a listing and finish it later?
A: Yes — Ocusell uses the same fields as the Listing Manager, so you can use existing Doorify input forms for either platform. You can save and exit anytime using the save-and-exit button in the upper right corner, and Ocusell also auto-saves after every keystroke.
Q: Going forward, do we call Ocusell or Doorify for tech support?
A: You can reach out to either Doorify support or Ocusell support directly at support@ocusell.com.
Q: Does the auto-populated information pull from tax records?
A: Yes.
Q: When searching city limits, only A–C appears. What if I need a city like Knightdale?
A: You can scroll down within the city section, or type in the search bar to find the city more quickly.
Q: Is there a place to add captions or descriptions when adding or reordering photos?
A: Yes — click on the photo and it will open up an option to add a caption.
Q: How much time will Ocusell save compared to the Listing Manager?
A: Savings should be near instant, though we recommend giving the system a minute or two after entry to make sure everything has synced properly.
Q: Can I list in both Doorify and Hive?
A: Once Hive is live on Ocusell, members of both MLSs will be able to enter a listing in Doorify and Hive simultaneously from Ocusell.
Q: Can Ocusell be used to add or edit rooms and room dimensions?
A: Yes, rooms and room dimensions can be added or edited directly in Ocusell.
