The Hold status is used when a property is temporarily removed from showings,  usually at the request of the seller, but is still under an active listing agreement.

Important Guidelines:

• Showings and open houses are not permitted while a listing is in Hold status.
   
• The listing remains in the MLS but DOM will NOT accumulate during this time.
   
• This status is intended for long-term interruptions lasting more than 48 hours (e.g., repairs, illness, travel).
   

Required Documentation:

Doorify MLS requires that the Hold Form (or equivalent documentation) be signed and attached to the listing whenever a listing is placed in Hold status.

This ensures all parties,  including cooperating agents and potential buyers,  understand the showing limitations in place during this period.
