What is Limited Distribution?

Limited Distribution (sometimes referred to as Delayed Marketing, DMEL, Delayed Distribution, or Seller-directed Marketing) is an option that allows sellers to delay when their listing is displayed on public IDX websites and third-party portals. This option gives sellers more control over the timing of their listing’s public marketing exposure.

Submitting a listing as Limited Distribution comes with limitations on how the Listing Broker can market the property. To avoid confusion and set expectations, Doorify MLS requires this form (or a similar one) to be signed and submitted to the service.
