Getting Started & Accounts
What is CubiCasa and how do I access it through Doorify MLS?
CubiCasa is a mobile floor plan solution that allows agents to create accurate, professional floor plans using just a smartphone. Doorify MLS subscribers can access CubiCasa through their Doorify MLS account and receive exclusive pricing benefits.

Do I need more than one CubiCasa account if I belong to multiple MLSs?
No. You only need one CubiCasa account. You can link multiple MLSs, and the system will automatically apply the best available discount.
I already use CubiCasa. How do I get the Doorify MLS discount?
Contact CubiCasa Support at help@cubicasa.com and ask them to associate your existing account with Doorify MLS.
Pricing & Plans
What plans are available through Doorify MLS?
- Lite Plan (Free): Includes a basic black-and-white floor plan with room dimensions.
- Plus Plan (Paid): Includes total square footage, Home Report, Snapshot Report, CubiCasa Tour, and custom styling options.
Doorify MLS subscribers receive 25% off paid CubiCasa products.
Is pricing per month or per scan?
Pricing is per scan, not monthly. Discounts apply per order.
Is there a size limit for properties?
Properties up to 5,000 sq. ft. are included. Properties over 5,000 sq. ft. can still be scanned, but a large property fee applies.
Accuracy, Compliance & Square Footage
How accurate is CubiCasa?
CubiCasa scans average 95-97% accuracy. Accuracy continues to improve as hardware and algorithms evolve.
Is CubiCasa compliant with MLS and ANSI standards?
Yes. CubiCasa is ANSI Z765 compliant and is recognized as accurate by regulatory bodies such as NCREC. Agents remain responsible for ensuring listing acuracy.
Does CubiCasa provide total square footage?
- Lite Plan: Room dimensions only
- Plus Plan: Total square footage
- GLA Report (Add-on): Appraiser-grade calculations that account for wall thickness and ceiling height
Does the GLA Report account for ceiling heights and wall thickness?
Yes. The GLA Report follows ANSI standards and accounts for ceiling height variations and wall thickness based on property type.
Scanning & Best Practices
How do I scan a property?
You will walk the property while the app prompts you to scan each wall. Scanning is done in vertical mode only.
Can I scan with people or pets in the home?
Yes. People and pets can be present during the scan.
Does CubiCasa work at night?
Yes, but daylight is recommended. If scanning at night, ensure adequate lighting.
Should closets, attics, and unfinished areas be scanned?
If you want an area displayed on the floor plan, it should be scanned. Unfinished areas are labeled as Excluded Areas where applicable.
Property Types & Special Use Cases
Can I scan condos?
Yes. Condo scans provide interior measurements only and exclude exterior wall thickness.
Does CubiCasa work for commercial properties?
CubiCasa is designed for residential real estate and does not offer commercial-specific features. However, commercial properties can be scanned, with best results under 12,000 sq. ft. (larger scans may work but aren't guaranteed).
Multi-family properties are supported, but each unit must be scanned separately, as unit-level breakouts are not available.
Can decks, patios, and exterior spaces be measured?
Decks, patios, and exterior spaces can be scanned. Scanning the exterior of the home itself is not recommended.
Does CubiCasa measure lot size or yard area?
No. CubiCasa does not currently provide lot size or yard measurements.
Editing, Output & Distribution
Can I edit room names or remove areas from calculations?
Yes. Users can edit room names and adjust areas, including excluding certain spaces from GLA calculations.
Can I remove or add furniture in the floor plan?
Lite plans do not include furniture. Furniture and personal items are not rendered in the final output.
Will CubiCasa floor plans work in the MLS and on portals?
Yes. All CubiCasa floor plan formats can be uploaded to MLS listings. CubiCasa Tours integrate with Redfin and can be shared via the Virtual Tour field for distribution to portals like Zillow.
How long are CubiCasa links available?
- CubiCasa Tour links: Active for 12 months
- Floor plan images: Archived after 3 months but can regenerated
